The last 10 days have been described as a tectonic shift of the highest and best kind for SC. To hear our Gov call for the removal of the Confederate flag from the statehouse grounds with bipartisan support was sweet music to this Yankee's ear. That forgiveness was spoken by the family members of the dead to the accused, a look into the spirituality of this part of the US that has been a puzzle to the Yankee.<br /><br />The work of grace will still be work (like rowing to shore after Jesus stilled the storm). But grace and the steadfast love of God has more power.
